Here are some national averages for time on the market for 2011 between REO, short sales and non-distressed properties. Thirty two percent of sales on the market in 2011 were distressed on the mountain. Nationally the number has been around 40% or higher for many months.

The Mt. Hood Hoodland Women's Club has been established since the 60's and their latest project is spearheading a fundraiser for the Mt. Hood Community Center to replace the aging Dorman Center which currently houses a day care facility, senior center, and a preschool. Many local community meetings are held at the center.
