Zig Zag, Oregon

Zig Zag is an unincorporated community in the Mt. Hood Corridor and located between Rhododendron and Welches.  The elevation is 1411 feet. The community was named after the Zig Zag River and is part of the Villages at Mt. Hood. One of the ranger stations for the Mount Hood National Forest was built in the community in the early 1900’s and the Ranger Station is still located in Zig Zag.
